KYLIE BURKET
Kylie is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in both school-based and community mental health settings.
Kylie takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy. She incorporates strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. She particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the many challenges, transitions, and changes that come with growing and finding their place in the world.
Above all, Kylie wants her clients to feel like they have a therapist who is genuinely in their corner. Her goal is to meet each client where they are and work alongside them toward meaningful growth and change.
