ALEXANDRIA “ALEX” REZNICEK, LIMHP

Alexandria “Alex” Reznicek, LIMHP, works with children, adolescents, and teens who are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, executive dysfunction, and the pressures of managing school, sports, and daily life. She has a warm, down-to-earth style that helps young people feel comfortable opening up and being honest about what’s really going on. Alex has special interest and experience working with student-athletes and those managing chronic illness, helping them build resilience and practical skills while balancing their physical and mental health needs.
Alex believes therapy should feel like a collaborative partnership, not something happening to you. Her approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—but what matters most is creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make real changes. She values collaborating with other providers, including medical professionals and school personnel, to create comprehensive support systems that address all aspects of her clients’ wellbeing.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hastings College and a Master of Science in Education concentrated in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. A lifelong athlete herself, Alex played NAIA Women’s Soccer at Hastings College, which gives her unique insight into the mental health challenges that student-athletes face. During her graduate work, Alex was awarded a grant through the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN), affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and participated in the Health Resources and Services Administration Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training internship program.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys time with family and friends, being outdoors, staying active, and watching sports. As a parent herself, she understands the challenges families face and brings both professional and personal insight to her work.
